Business speakers for hire The Betches (originally Betches Love This) is a digital brand started by Aleen Kuperman, Jordana Abraham, and Samantha Fishbein. Betches started as a website and is now a viral social media and digital humor company. The business includes a lucrative webpage, a multitude of viral social media accounts, podcasts, a YouTube channel,  national comedy tours, and an eCommerce online shopping website Shop Betches, and a dating app GetShipped that they teamed up with Match.com to execute.  Notably, the Betches have 9 podcasts, a full staff of over 15 people at their Headquarters in NYC.  Celebrity speakers for hire The Betches co-wrote three books, and are the authors of two best-selling books, I Had A Nice Time And Other Lies… and Nice Is Just A Place In France.

After graduating from Cornell University, each of the three women invested $1,500 into the company. They chose the name “Betches” because they heard young women saying the word because they did not want to be called a Bitch. Betches Love This was shortened to “Betches” as the brand developed into a larger humor category discussing topics such as celebrities, health, and fitness, politics, pop culture in addition to TV and movie recaps. The Betches put forth multiple social media posts a week for their fans. The three women claim to “say what people are thinking about the world, but no one’s said out loud.”

Celebrity speakers for hire Jordana Abraham, Samantha Fishbein, and Aleen Kuperman created Betches in the form of a WordPress blog while still studying at Cornell University in 2011. The three seniors targeted girls that were “‘edgy, speak their minds, and unapologetic in regards to their beliefs and opinions'” The blog was first designed to counteract the male humor that was receiving a high level of attention from young men.

After graduation, all three women still lived at their parent’s house, allowing them to meet with each other and work on growing their platform. Their early blogs went viral, catching a book agent’s attention. They spent their first year after college writing Nice Is Just a Place in France for Simon & Schuster, which in 2013 would become their first of two New York Times best-sellers on the paperback and humor lists.  Celebrity speakers for hire The Betches reached their success with hard work and learning from their mistakes. The women hired an ad buyer who helped the women realize that their readers were more interested in their Instagram account, rather than their website.

Forbes has estimated that in 2017, their 3rd year of earning a profit, the women behind Betches earned more than $5 million in revenue, 75% of which came from brand partnerships. Fortunately for the women, they still own the company fully and have not had to seek out investors. Their ability to build a multi-media company at such a young age is what makes The Betches such a superb choice for product endorsements targeting Millenial Women. In February 2018, The Betches founders rebranded, building a media venture beyond Instagram. The women have built a humor and entertainment site that saw a 200% year-over-year growth in unique visitors from 2017-2018. Forbes estimates that in 2017. According to the founders, their company has been profitable since 2014. The Betches have multiple chart-topping podcasts that they both run and produce.

In February 2018, it was announced that an animated television series based on the young women’s humor website and popular Instagram account is in the works at Comedy Central — and celebrity speaker for hire Emma Roberts is set to executive produce the show and play a voice of one of the characters.
