Keynote Speaker Maria Bartiromo is an American television journalist covering business and the economy for more than 25 years. In 2015, she was given the 6-9 A.M. timeslot on Fox Business Network replacing Don Imus. Maria anchors her own business news show Morning Money with Maria Bartiromo. In 2008, Maria was awarded her first Emmy for her News and Documentary coverage of the 2007-2008 financial collapse. She would then go on to win her second Emmy just the following year for her 2009 documentary Inside the Mind of Google.

Keynote Speaker Maria Bartiromo got her start in TV journalism at CNN as a producer and assignment editor but had always dreamed of being an anchor. Five years later she would get her chance with CNBC where she became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis. During her time with CNBC she became the face of the network, launching the network’s morning show Squawk Box and was the anchor and managing editor of the nationally recognized program On the Money with Maria Bartiromo. Due to her good looks and work with the Stock Exchange, Maria was coined the nickname Money Honey. She later went on to trademark the nickname as a brand name for her children’s products that would teach the fundamentals of money.

As a strong-willed female in the field, she was at first unwelcomed by many. But she stood her ground and went on to be the first female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. Maria is also the author of three books and even with her busy schedule she has still found the time to make cameos in several motion pictures. In 2013, it was announced that Maria was leaving CNBC to join Fox Business Network. Maria has paved the way for many female journalists with her persistence and hard work.

Keynote Speaker Maria Bartiromo is an engaging keynote speaker for corporate conferences, business summits and university forums.
