Co-creator, head writer, and executive producer of hit TV series, Seinfeld, celebrity speaker Larry David won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993. Before Seinfeld, Larry was a standup comedian and then went into TV comedy and wrote and starred in ABC’s Fridays and wrote for Saturday Night Live. Winner of two Primetime Emmy Awards, and number 23 of The Greatest Comedy Stars Ever.
In 1989 Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David paired together to create a pilot for NBC which was originally called The Seinfeld Chronicles, later the name changed it to Seinfeld. Seinfeld was one of the most successful shows in history.
HBO aired a 1 hour special called Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm and it debuted on October 17, 1999 which was followed by Curb Your Enthusiasm airing October 15, 2000. Aside from roles in Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry directed and wrote Sour Grapes, has appeared in Radio Days and New York Stories. Larry David and his daughters guest starred in a Hannah Montanta episode and had a cameo in Entourage. As of March 2015, Larry stars in the Broadway play Fish in the Dark, which he also helped write.
