Jimmy Fallon’s career began as a stand-up comedian and after college he began to do stand-up tours across the country and began improv classes with The Groundlings. He appeared briefly in Spin City and then made his way to New York to audition for SNL and did impersonations of Jerry Seinfeld, Pat O’Brien, Adam Sandler, Jeff Foxworthy and many others. Jimmy’s impersonations helped him land a part on SNL in 1998 and were promoted to full cast member in 1999. The next year, he became co-anchor of Weekend Update with Tina Fey. In 2004, Jimmy Fallon left SNL to pursue a career in film. He eventually took over Conon O’Brien’s position as host of NBC’s Late Night and on his first show, Robert De Niro, Justin Timberlake, Nick Carter and Van Morrison made guest appearances.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon premiered in March 2009 and Jimmy proved himself  to be different than other late-night hosts with more reliance on music, dancing, games, and association with social media. Though different, the show found its footing on late-night television and was a huge success, with Jimmy earning a salary of $11 million a year just for his work on Late Night. In 2013, NBC announced that Jimmy would replace Jay Leno to become the sixth permanent host of The Tonight Show. On February 17, 2014 Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show aired on NBC, engaging 11.3 million viewers, making it the most-viewed late night show in the past few years. Most recently, Jimmy won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Late Night TV Host 2015.

Besides his work with late-night show hosting, he has made appearances in films like Taxi, Anything Else, Almost Famous, Fever Pitch, Band of Brothers, Doogal, Factory Girl and Whip It. In 2002, he released the comedy album The Bathroom Wall and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2003 for Best Spoken Comedy Album. He has hosted the MTV Movie Awards with Kirsten Dunst and the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.

He is author of I Hate This Place: The Pessimist’s Guide to Life, Snowball Fight, and I Hate This Place. Jimmy donates to various charities including ALAFA, Food Bank For New York City, Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Robin Hood, and Stand Up To Cancer. Jimmy Fallon is available for speaking engagements, product promotion and personal appearances.
