Celebrity Chef Speaker Jamie Deen, the oldest Deen brother, attended Valdosta State University. During the early years of Paula Deen’s brand, Jamie was working in a variety of businesses following his graduation. Jamie helped launch Paula Deen’s home meal delivery business to one of America’s most thriving restaurants, Lady and Sons in Savannah, Georgia. This move was one of the smartest moves in entertainment brand history. Without losing any of the simple and fun aspects that Paula Deen incorporated into her recipes, Jamie used his business mind to help free his mother from the business side to concentrate on the recipes that made the Deen brand its first national spotlight, which launched the huge brand that Paula Deen is today.

Celebrity Chef Speaker Jamie Deen and his brother Bobby Deen began to initiate the next steps of the business. They first appeared in their mother’s shows on the Food Network and then debut their own show, Road Tasted. This new show brought in younger audiences to the Deen brand. From here, the Deen brothers launched three best selling cookbooks; The Deen Bros. Cookbook-Recipes from the Road in 2007, Y’all Come eat, in 2008, and Take It Easy in 2009. In 2012, Jamie hosted his own show, “Home for Dinner with Jamie Deen,”on The Food Network. Jamie and his brother have endorsed I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter and are available for speaking engagements, cooking demonstrations and autograph signings.
