Celebrity Speaker, television and film producer Jeffrey Jacob Abrams (aka J. J. Abrams) has been a part of the creation of the most memorable movies and TV series in recent history. Abrams has contributed to his works in the movie business as a screenwriter, actor, producer, director, and composer since his career began some twenty years ago when he got his start working on his first motion picture film, Taking Care of Business, which starred James Belushi and Charles Grodin. From there, he went on to produce several notable films including Forever Young with actor Mel Gibson, Regarding Henry which featured Harrison Ford, and several others. During that time, Abrams also joined famous producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Michael Bay to produce the box office hit Armageddon. The film starred award winning actors Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Ben Affleck, and Liv Tyler, and went on to earn over $500 million worldwide. As a director, J. J. Abrams has directed such films as Mission: Impossible III with Tom Cruise, Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, Star Wars Episode VII and the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Shortly after Armageddon, J. J. Abrams began making himself known on the small screen with the television series, Felicity, for which he was the co-creator, executive producer, and music composer for the show’s theme music. Felicity aired for four seasons on the WB Network. Following the conclusion of his first TV series, Abrams started his own production company called Bad Robot, which he co-founded with fellow producer and partner Bryan Burke. With his focus still on television dramas, J. J. went on to create the ABC series Alias in 2006 and was executive producer for ABC’s What About Brian and Six Degrees. From 2004 to 2010 J. J. Abrams was a co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the incredibly popular series, Lost. The sci-fi, adventure, drama, mystery, thriller series, had people glued to their television sets for over six seasons.
