Political Speaker Herman Cain first worked as a mathematician in ballistics as a civilian employee of the United States Navy and in 1977, Herman joined the Pillsbury Company. From 1989 to 1991 he was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch and became deputy chairman in 1992 and chairman in 1995 of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
One of thirteen members of Jack Kemp’s Economic Growth and Tax Reform Commission, Herman Cain then became senior economic advisor to the Bob Dole presidential campaign. In 1996 he moved to Washington D.C. to become the CEO of the National Restaurant Association and from 1996 to 1999.
After briefly running for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2000, Herman Cain was a candidate for the 2012 U.S. Republican Party presidential nomination. He struggled to deal with allegations of sexual misconduct, and therefore terminated his campaign. Herman Cain is available for speaking engagements, endorsements, and personal appearances.
