Real estate developer and Chairman of the Board of Perot Systems, Political Speaker Henry Perot, is the son of Ross Perot. Upon graduating from Vanderbilt University, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 1/2 years. He served as chairman of the Air Force Memorial Foundation, and helped build the U.S. Air Force Memorial in Washington, DC.
Along with Jay Coburn, Political Speaker Henry Perot piloted the first ever round-the-world helicopter flight. On September 30, 1982 they completed the flight in 29 days, 3 hours and 8 minutes and began and ended in Fort Worth, TX.
Henry has expanded the family fortunes through real estate and became independent prominent in the 1980’s with his development and ownership of Fort Worth Alliance Airport and the surrounding area. His real estate business is called Hillwood, which is run by Henry and his father.
He had majority ownership of the Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball team, in his desire to develop the real estate that surrounded the arena. It eventually became Victory Park and in his interest of the Mavericks, it was sold to Mark Cuban.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney announced that Henry Perot would serve as a member of his Texas statewide finance committee. He is contributes much time and money to the Dallas/Fort Worth areas. After selling Perot Systems to Dell Inc., he was selected to be on the board of Dell.
