Before Celebrity Speaker Halle Berry became an actress, she competed in numerous beauty contests and finished as the 1^st runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant in 1986 and came in 6^th in the Miss World pageant that same year. Her first film was Jungle Fever which lead to roles in The Flintstones, Bulworth, X-Men and the Bond Girl Jinx in Die Another Day.

She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been the face of Revlon cosmetics and Versace. The Call was a crime thriller that Halle played an emergency responder, it was released in 2013. In March 2014, Halle and producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, launched a new production company called 606 Films, which emerged as part of a deal with CBS for Halle to star in the sci-fi drama series Extant.
