The popular Celebrity Chef Speaker is well-known for his TV cooking competition series Hell’s Kitchen and his reality TV series Kitchen Nightmares. Gordon has also written a whopping 21 books that includes detailed events from his life in the cooking industry and recipes galore. His many Michelin star-winning restaurants span the globe, from the U.S. and London to other international venues in places like Italy and Japan.
Celebrity Chef Speaker Gordon claims his mentor was Guy Savoy whom he worked under during his early kitchen work in Paris on his way to becoming a talented chef. It was in 1998 when he would open his first restaurant in Chelsea, London called Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The restaurant has since been awarded 3 Michelin stars and made Gordon the first Scottish chef to accomplish this feat. He currently owns or operates 25 restaurants in the form of stand-alone and hotel ventures. In 2006, he opened Gordon Ramsay at the London at took home the award for top newcomer in the revered Zagat Guide. Most of Gordon’s time is spent in front of a TV camera starring in UK and U.S. versions of his 2 hit shows. Gordon also created a series called The F Word, a fun competition and cooking reality series aired on Channel 4 Network in the UK. He currently works as a producer and judge of the Master Chef cooking competition TV series and Hotel Hell, a TV series in which Gordon visits struggling hotels and establishments to revitalize their business.
Gordon has been heavily involved with the Scottish Spina Bifida Association and has been a centerpiece in many fundraising campaigns for the organization including his annual gala dinner and the Buy a Brick campaign to build a new support center in Glasgow, Scotland.
