Fitness personality Gilad Janklowicz is a pioneer in the fitness industry who has helped millions to stay fit with his fitness shows, Bodies in Motion, Basic Training the Workout and Total Body Sculpt. Bodies in Motion was the first fitness show to air on ESPN for eleven years from 1985-1996. From 1996-2002 the show aired on Fox Sports and on The Health Network. Since then, the show has been airing on Discovery’s new fitness channel, Fit TV. It is currently the longest running fitness show in the US.
Bodies in Motion won Cable Magazine’s ‘People’s Choice Award’ for best health and fitness show. Airing in over 80 countries, the show was chosen as #1 TV Fitness Program in the world by Self Magazine. Gilad Janklowicz was given the title of ‘Fitness Instructor of the Year’ for 2004-2007. After being an athlete through high school, he eventually was the record holder in the decathlon for in Israel and made an attempt at the 1980 Olympics but unfortunately injured his achilles. He was inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1991. Gilad enrolled in UCLA film school and began instructing fitness classes and began training celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack La Lanne and Joe Theismann. Having done national promotions campaigns for LA Gear and Ocean Spray, Gilad Janklowicz has generated over 30 instructional videos and was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame in 2007. Gilad is available for personal appearances, autograph signings and team building events.
