Social Media Speaker Fran Hauser is a partner for Rothenberg Ventures, which identifies, invests in, and cultivates technology value and talent at scale. Prior to becoming a partner at Rothenberg Ventures, she oversaw digital businesses for TIME, Inc. as President of the Digital — Style & Entertainment Group.  During that time, she developed new products, secured large-scale distribution partnerships, recognized and closed acquisitions and adopted best in-class social media and search engine optimization practices.

Fran Hauser led a team to make StyleFeeder and expanded SEG into e-commerce. She also influenced StyleFeeder’s technology and InStyle’s editorial expertise to launch StyleFind. StyleFind was Time Inc.’s first stand-alone shopping site. In 2008, Fran Hauser won People’s Magazine Website of the Year award and MPA’s Website of the Year: Entertainment in 2009. People, InStyle and Entertainment Weekly have all received Ad Age Media Vanguard Awards.

Her awards continue when she was named Ad Age’s Women to Watch and was inducted into the Media Industry Newsletter’s Digital Hall of Fame in 2008. Before she became President of Digital for SEG, Hauser served as President of People Digital and began her career at Time Inc. when she was named Executive Producer in 2003 and prior to this she was Vice President of AOL’s Programming Group. She began her profession at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has held positions at Ernst & Young and Coca-Cola Enterprises.

Fran Hauser serves on the Board of Directors of the Online Publishers Association. She is available for speaking engagements, personal appearances and public events.
