Sports Speaker Eli Manning has followed the footsteps of his record-setting older brother, Peyton Manning, on the football field as the starting quarterback for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He spent his college career at Ole Miss where he set 45 single-game, season and career records, and finished fifth on the SEC career list with 10,119 passing yards and third on the SEC career list with 81 touchdown passes. During his time at Ole Miss, he was awarded the Maxwell Award as the nation’s best all-around player and SEC Player of the Year.

Eli Manning was the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and was immediately traded to the New York Giants. He was named starter for the Giants in 2005 and carried his team to NFC East Champions. He led his team to win Super Bowl XLII in 2008 against the previously undefeated New England Patriots and was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the game. In the 2008 season, the Giants again became NFC East Champions, but their postseason ended short after a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Eli Manning holds the NFL record for most 4^th quarter touchdown passes in a season and most road playoff wins, and is tied for the longest pass completion and touchdown. He is a three-time pro bowl selection player in 2009, 2011, and 2012. Eli would go on to win his 2nd Super Bowl ring in 2012, once again defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI where he was named Super Bowl MVP. In 2015, Eli announced that he would promote the Gillette Shave Club, joining his father, Archie, to be the 2nd Manning to partner with the brand.
