Health and Wellness Speaker Dr. Oz is a popular figure in the medical community who worked previously as Oprah Winfrey’s resident in-house health and wellness expert before earning his own TV show.

He began his career as a professor at Columbia University in the department of Surgery and has been there since 2001. He is the director of the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Oz notes his interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, and health care policies.

Dr. Oz appeared on the The Oprah Winfrey Show for five seasons as a health experts, and eventually got a spin-off series of his own called The Dr. Oz Show. He is also author of six New York Times bestsellers and in 2014 he launched a bi-monthly magazine called Dr. Oz THE GOOD LIFE.

He is the founder and chairman of HealthCorps designed to pay a small stipend to recent college graduates to spend two years mentoring students in high schools about health, nutrition and fitness. Dr. Oz and Jeffrey T. Arnold together founded Sharecare Inc., which provides an interactive Q&A platform to answer health-related questions. Dr. Oz is available for speaking engagements, endorsements, and fundraisers.
