Diana DeGarmo was the runner up by 2% on the third season of American-Idol. At the time of the show, Diana was only 16 years old, which made her the second youngest in the set of finalists.

As a little girl, she sang at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards and stage productions of Annie and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In 1996, as a third grader, she was a Coca-Cola Kid during the Summer Olympics in Atlanta. In 2002, she was named Miss Teen Georgia and was a finalist on NBC’s America’s Most Talented Kid.

Two years later, she tried out for American Idol and finished second behind Fantasia Barrino. After the show, she was signed to RCA Records/19 Records and released a single called, Dreams. Diana DeGarmo’s debut album, Blue Skies, released in December of 2004 at #52 on the Billboard charts.

In 2011, Diana joined the cast of The Young and the Restless and portrayed Angelina Veneziano, daughter of resident mobster, Angelo. Her second year on the show, Diana wrote Good Goodbye for her character Angelina. After the production of a music video for the TV Series hit song, fans were asked to vote on two different versions of the music video on the American Idol website, the winning video was then posted on iTunes.  She has also made various appearances on TV networks like TLC, Lifetime, the Hallmark Channel, etc.

Diana DeGarmo has performed in a variety of musicals and was set to star alongside Tony Award nominee Gavin Crell in the Broadway revival of Godspell. Most recently Diana will star in Studio Tenn’s production of The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy, set to debut June 2015. Diana is available for endorsements, hosting and autograph signings.
