Former NFL cornerback and MLB outfielder Deion Sanders currently works as an NFL Network analyst and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 6, 2011. Known as one of the most versatile athletes in sports history because of his ability to play two sports at multiple positions; Deion Sanders has played for the Atlanta Falcons, the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Redskins, and the Baltimore Ravens, winning the Super Bowl with both the 49ers and the Cowboys. In baseball, he played for the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds, and the San Francisco Giants.

During his time in the NFL, Deion was a constant All-Pro and was one of “the most feared pass defenders to ever play the game.” His speed was undeniable, yet his tackling was poor. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls in 1991-1994, 1996-1999 and was awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. College Football News named Deion Sanders #8 on its list of 100 Greatest College Football Players of All-Time, The Sporting Newsnamed him #37 in the Top 100 Football Players of the Century, and ESPN placed Deion #73 in the 100 Great Athletes of the Century. In his first year of eligibility, Deion was named Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and was announced as a College Football Hall of Fame inductee.

Upon retiring from the NFL, Deion has worked as a sports pre-game commentator for CBS’ The NFL Today until 2004 when contract negotiations failed. He has made many guest appearances on ESPN, the ESPN Radio Dallas and hosted The New American Sportsman. His biggest relief effort was in response to Hurricane Katrina, when he challenged all professional athletes to donate $1,000 each to relief efforts. He is now very dedicated to his non-profit organization called TRUTH Academic and Sport, which helps get kids off the streets by bringing them to various different sports. Deion also stars in the reality show, on the Oprah Winfrey Network, called Deion’s Family Playbook and they are currently in their third season. Deion Sanders is available for speaking engagements, sporting events, and endorsements.
