Anchor of SportsCenter, Monday Night Countdown, Sunday NFL Countdown, Baseball Tonight, U.S. Open golf, and the Stanley Cup Finals, sports speaker Chris Berman has been with ESPN since 1979. He is one of ESPN’s longest-tenured employees.

Sports Speaker Chris Berman is known for his catch phrases and player nicknames and maybe his most famous is his rendition of “He could … go ….  all … the… way!” He goes by his alter ego, “The Swami,” when making predictions on Sunday NFL Countdown and has been called “the most important person” at ESPN.

He has lent his voice to the videogame ESPN NFL 2k5 and hosts the pregame show. He has appeared with Adam Sadler in various movies like The Waterboy, The Longest Yard and recently made a cameo on the 2013 comedy Grown Ups 2. Chris Berman has won the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association National Sportscaster of the Year six times.
