Celebrity Chef Speaker Bradford Thompson is an award winning celebrity chef and owner of Jules Gourmet Foods, a Jamaican sauce and seasoning production company. Celebrity Chef Speaker Thompson has held such positions as Executive Chef at Lever House Restaurant, Sous Chef at Dinex Group in NYC, National Spokesperson for Share Our Strength, and most notably, Chef de Cuisine of Arizona’s premier fine-dining restaurant, Mary Elaine’s Restaurant located at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale. During his time at Mary Elaine’s, the restaurant was labeled Five-Diamond by the American Automobile Association and the Grand Award from Wine Spectator magazine.
Training under critically acclaimed world class chefs like Vincent Guerithault, Chef Alessandro Stratta, and Daniel Boulud, Chef Bradford’s career in French cuisine was off to a great start. Working in Chef Guerithault’s Vincent’s on Camelback in Phoenix, Arizona, Thompson was educated on Classic French cooking techniques mixed with southwestern cuisine. Under Chef Alessandro, Bradford was able to develop a strong sense of gratitude for high quality ingredients and the proper ways to use them in cooking. During his five years working for legendary Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City, Chef Thompson was his right hand man in opening two restaurants, DB Bistro Moderne and Café Boulud and was at the helm in the top rated restaurant, DANIEL, which earned top ratings from the New York Times and Zagat during his time there.
Throughout Chef Bradford Thompson’s career, he has won such accolades as making Food and Wine magazine’s list for Top Ten New Chefs in 2004, the award for Outstanding Chef of the Year for his charity work by Share Our Strength, and was named Phoenix chairperson for Taste of the Nation. He has appeared on television programs including CBS Early Show, NBC Today Show, and in publications Bon Appetit, Gourmet, and Food and Wine Magazine.
