First season contestant on The Bachelorette and Celebrity Speaker Bob Guiney became the bachelor on the fourth season of ABC’s The Bachelor. In his first reality TV show, The Bachelorette, Bob was eliminated by Trista Sutter but his popularity from the show led to him being cast in 2003 as the Bachelor on the fourth season of The Bachelor.
In 2003, Bob Guiney published his first book, What a Difference a Year Makes: How Life’s Unexpected Setback Can Lead to Unexpected Joy, which explains the lessons learned from his family and friends as his he became famous and as he went through a divorce. He plays in the Band From TV, which is made up of actors and tv personalities. The band gives all of their proceeds from shows and recordings to charities of their preference and has raised more than $2 million.
Currently, Bob can be heard on his talk show “Bob and Jessica LIVE” weekdays from 3-5pm on www.playboyradio.com and also serves as a bi-monthly panelist on The TODAY SHOW with Kathie Lee and Hoda. He was the host on TLC’s Date My House, a real estate makeover show. Bob is available for hosting, corporate appearances, and endorsements.
