Chef Blythe Beck trained under Celebrity Chef Dean Fearing for four years at the famous Mansion on Turtle Creek, was the Executive Chef for restaurant owner Hector Garcia’s Hector’s on Henderson, and in 2009 Blythe was appointed Executive Chef at Hotel Palomar Dallas’ restaurant, Central 214 where her culinary career really took off. That same year marked the beginning of Chef Blythe’s television career as well when the executives at Oxygen network chose her to become the main subject in the reality series, The Naughty Kitchen With Chef Blythe Beck, which aired for one season. Chosen for her reputation for her cuisine which she describes as Sexy New American, the show starred Chef Blythe, the staff members at Central 214, and customers of the top rated hotel restaurant located in the heart of Dallas.
Celebrity Chef Speaker Blythe Beck has since moved on to Ft. Smith, Arkansas, where she is currently Executive Chef at the Movie Lounge, a restaurant and theater in one which features movies while guests enjoy fine New American cuisine. Chef Blythe Beck has been featured in such publications as the Dallas Observer and Texas Spirit, on iVillage, in People Magazine, OK Magazine, InTouch Weekly, and was given The Five Factor award by Modern Luxury magazine. She has also appeared on television programs including the Tyra Banks Show and NBC’s Today Show.
