Billy had box office success for his role in When Harry Met Sally… and City Slickers. He began his career as a comedian at The Improv and Catch a Rising Star and even hosted his own variety show, The Billy Crystal Comedy Hour. In 2014, Billy gave a moving speech at the Emmy Awards to remember his good friend and comedy legend, Robin Williams.
In 1984, after hosting Saturday Night Live, he joined the regular cast where his famous catchphrase, “You look… mahvelous!,” became a media sensation. Billy Crystal went on to write, direct and star in many films including Mr. Saturday Night and Forget Paris. He also worked next to Robert De Niro in Analyze This and Analyze That. Billy is active in charity work and is a part-owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Billy Crystal has been nominated for Golden Globes, Emmy Awards and Tony Awards and has won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding One-Person Show for 700 Sundays and received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
