With four consecutive appearances at the Summer Olympic Games, Olympic Speaker Amy Acuff has proven her impressive athletic abilities to viewers across the globe. Amy Acuff is an Olympic high jumper and has competed in the 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics. Her best jump was at the 2004 Games where she jumped 1.99m and she placed 4th. She has since beat her record in 2003 in Zurich with a 2.01m. In high school, she was named the national Girl’s High School Athlete of the Year by Track and Field News. Amy is currently training for a bid in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. In 2015, Amy launched her own app, Winning Edge, a sports video analysis app.
She first came to the spotlight at the age of 22, where she became the Universiade champion where she beat out competitor Monica Lagar. Amy Acuff won the 1998 Hochsprung mit Musik where she became the first non-European winner in the history of the event. Amy has won 3 national championships.
Olympic Speaker Amy Acuff also has a modeling career. She has appeared on the 2000 Omni Lite Mellennium Calendar of Champions with 11 other US female track and field athletes.
