    Well known for her presence across numerous Food Network shows, celebrity Chef for hire Alex Guarnaschelli packs just as much punch as her food. Her passion for cooking was heavily influenced by her parents growing up as her mother was a cookbook editor and her father was simply a cooking enthusiast. Because she was always surrounded by food, it was inevitable for her to develop a love for cooking. She attended culinary school and learned cooking techniques from some of the most renowned and finest chefs until going out on her own. Her culinary career brought her jobs in France, New York, and Los Angeles. Celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli worked at Daniel Boulud’s Joachim Splichal’s Patina before becoming the executive chef at Butter. She then went on to start teaching and guiding young budding professional chefs at New York City’s Institute of Culinary Education where she then would become a member of the ICE Advisory Council.

    Celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli first showcased her impressive cooking skills as a competitor on The Food Network’s Iron Chef America this only foreshadowed what would happen later as in 2012 she competed to become the Next Iron Chef and won. She is just one of the few women to hold a position as an iron chef making her the perfect fit for any. Alex Guarnaschelli has also been seen as a regular judge on the primetime shows Chopped, The Best Thing I Ever Ate and hosts the show The Cooking Loft. On Food Network she even has her own show, Alex’s Day Off where she shares some of her most beloved recipes. Guarnaschelli recently signed a multiyear multi-platform deal with Food Network to appear on The Saturday morning show, The Kitchen and Fix Me a Plate where she goes behind the scenes of her favorite restaurants.

    Guarnaschelli also an author of two popular cookbooks, Old School Comfort Food, and  The Home Cook is a New York Times and Amazon Best Seller. Besides writing cookbooks Guarnaschelli has been hired by PEOPLE.com to write a weekly column where she blogs about her favorite seasonal ingredients, up and coming food trends and useful tips or tricks for the kitchen. In 2012 Fisher Nut Market hired Alex as their Brand Ambassador and she has created countless recipes with their products.  She is a cooking icon and highly valued amongst many which would make her the perfect fit for any event where the audience is eager to learn more about cooking and the kitchen.     PHILANTHROPY: Alex Guarnaschelli is a star celebrity chef speaker who aims to make a difference. She shows massive amounts of support to numerous foundations two of her favorites being Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Cookies for Kid’s Cancer which both have missions to end childhood cancer.  Specifically for Alex’s Lemonade Stand she took part in The Great Chefs Event NYC and contributed to helping the organization raise over fifty thousand dollars. Guarnaschelli also supports other organizations such as Wellness in Schools, City Harvest, Share Our Strengths and contributes time Services for the UnderServed (SUS) with Andrew Zimmern which provides support and services to members of the community that are looking to build a life but have limited resources.
