Actor, film producer and Celebrity Speaker Samuel L. Jackson became involved in the Civil Rights Movement before pursuing a career in acting at the theater at Morehouse College. His beginning roles included Goodfellas where he met his mentors Morgan Freeman and director Spike Lee.
