After shattering Joe Montana’s Super Bowl record 357 passing yards, Kurt Warner finished his 1999-2000 NFL season in style. This performance gave him the Super Bowl MVP and a win against the Tennessee Titans.
With the spotlight on him and the continuous media attention, Kurt Warner didn’t want to talk about sports; he wanted to speak his message of Jesus Christ. At every moment he could, he spoke freely about the gifts God gave him and his ability to play football. Through his family’s highs and lows, and tragedies he has faced, God has helped him understand what truly is important in life.
Once Kurt Warner retired from the NFL, his goal remains the same: “To set an example for those athletes who know Christ as their personal Savior.” A year after his retirement from football, Kurt joined the NFL Network as an analyst and covered Thursday Night Football pregame show, NFL Total Access and coverage of the Arena Football League. He was then inducted into the Arena Football Hall of Fame. In 2014, Westwood One radio hired Kurt as a substitute analyst on Monday Night Football games.
Kurt was a contestant of the hit show Dancing with the Stars during the 2010 season. He has also invested in the Elite Football League of India, a South Asian professional football league, and with his earnings Kurt has donated $50,000 to go towards the purchase and distribution of Warner Family footballs to the underprivileged throughout India. Kurt and his wife Brenda have seven children and are life advocates and are strong supporters of adoption. Kurt Warner is available for speaking engagements, public service announcement, and personal appearances.
